David John Carter (born April 6, 1934〔Perry, Footz (2006) 401〕) is a politician, clergyman, photographer and author from Alberta, Canada. Carter served in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1979 to 1993. He became Speaker of the Assembly in 1986 and served until 1993.
